Mr. Indranil Goswami is a Post Graduate from the Concordia University Film School. Montreal. (Canada) and works as a professional in the entertainment industries of Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. He specializes in the area of Direction and Screenplay Writing. Mr. Goswami has teamed up with Mr. Pawandeep Singh and Mr. Vikram Maan, and run a complete production outfit based out of Chandigarh, consisting of very competent and experienced crew, along with sufficient hardware and equipment support to carry out productions smoothly in India and abroad. Indranil is very well known for his "GOVIND AUR GANESH”, a Telefilm (star bestsellers) by the Star Plus channel. It earned the award for the Best Thriller at the Hero Honda and a few other forums for television excellence in Mumbai.
In the recent past Mr. Goswami has done some noteworthy and pathfinder television projects, which are mentioned below.
Directed SAHEB BIWI AUR GHULAM, (starring Ravina Tandon,) a classic series on Sahara Manoranjan channel. This project received the prestigious ITA & other Awards for Best Actor & Best Art Direction.
Directed and co-produced "STOPPER”, a Bengali Television Series (Drama), on the Doordarshan, based on a Sahitya Academy Award winning novel, depicting the Kolkata Soccer mania.
STOPPER had also won the Onida Pinnacle Awards (1995-96) for the Best Serial, the Best Editor, and the Best Actor, considering all categories, languages and channels.
Produced, Co-Written&Directed "Chena Mukher Shari” a very different kind of Bengali daily drama on Zee (Alpha) Bengali.
Written "Shaayad...” Television. Shaayad was nominated for Best Serial, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Editing, and Best Sound Design categories at the Onida Pinnacle Award forum (1996-97).
Packaged the show, and Directed the initial episodes of "HAQEEQAT”, a weekly series based on TRUE STORIES OF HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION, on the Sahara Television. HAQEEQAT earned quite a few important awards under various forums from Mumbai.
Directed "SAMPAT aur SAMPAT”, a weekly drama series on Zee Television, shot entirely on location, in and around the strawberry fields at Mahabaleshwar.
Directed and co-written "Sparsh, ek ehsaas”, a romantic weekly series on Sahara Television. Interestingly,the first five episodes, shot on the exotic locations of Darjeeling, were re-cut and has been successfully telecast number of times as a full length film.
Co-produced Written and Directed various episodes for SATURDAY SUSPENSE [thriller series] and ANHONEE, "chilling stories of the unknown” on Zee TV.
Indranil has directed many episodes of Crime Patrol on Sony Entertainment Television, which were re-enactment of real life crime stories.
Produced, Written and Directed a Daily Morning Show on Pilgrimage & Travel titled "Teerth Yatra” which ran on ETV Hindi channels very successfully for about two years.
Quite recently Indranil has made a very interesting music video titled Sundar Sundar which has been launched with the music album titled Namee by Ritika, and is now being aired by some music channels.
He is also the Chairman of a Welfare Trust named Trinayani which is now working for the cause of Disability and issues connected to it. He is now making a series of Documentaries and Awareness Films as tools to support the Disability Awareness Drive that his trust has undertaken. It might be worth mentioning that one of his short films named DARK (about blindness) has earned the Best film award at the Disability film festival, 2008, Delhi.
With the launch of the newest television channel named REAL, Indranil has directed the initial episodes of a drama series titled NAMAK HARAM as its prized production on it.
For the same channel he has also made a few episodes of the weekly series for children (about fantasy and Martial Arts) titled NINJA PANDAV.
He packaged and created the look and feel of the show titled Ek Packet Umeed which has been aired by NDTV Imagine.
Ladies Special is also another First time on Indian Television Project which earned Indranil many accolades. The story being of a few real life daily passengers on Mumbai Local Trains, many working women across India identified with this landmark serial.
Indranil is also into creating Spiritual Music, Books, and other Audio Visual Material. He has just written a Spiritual Album titled "I HAVE THE POWER” which has just been released by Times Music. This is the first of its kind for the cosmopolitan children with a view to imbibe the culture of chanting Vedic Mantras with an understanding of their inner meaning.
Indranil had Directed, Written and Produced "AMAR KAHINI”, his first feature film in Bengali language, which was released in 1994.
Mr. Goswami also makes Documentaries, Public Service films, Teaching Aids and Advertising Films too.
One may mention here, his noteworthy creation of 72 technical films under the series titled "Kyon aur Kaise” for the National Council of Science and Technical Research, Govt. of India. Besides, he has directed a number of image building films for some Leading corporate bodies ICI, Union Carbide, TATA, Hindustan Lever, Apollo Hospitals, various multinational insurance and finance corporations and many others.
It is also worth mentioning that Indranil, in the meantime, during 2010, created a striking Bengali Language Musical Series titled Dokkhin Khola for an upcoming Bengali Channel too.

"SAAS BINA SASURAAL” on SONY Entertainment Channel
And "MAIKE SE BANDHE DOR” on STAR PLUS.

In the year 2012 Indranil has also directed Meri Maa, a story of a rag picker child.
Another noteworthy project in which Indranil was involved as the Creative Head and also as the Director, which is still on air is Baal Veer, on SONY Entertainment, which is a Fantasy Adventure for children.
A one hour slot on Life OK comprising of short stories titled Laakhon Me Ek, carried one story directed by Indranil on the delicate subject of a surrogate mother carrying her Son-in-law and daughter’s child (foetus) in her womb.

In 2013 Indranil has jointly Created Ghar Aa Ja Pardesi, (along with Mr. Pankaj Sudheer Mishra) a Drama Series set in the city of Varanasi which is being aired on The Sahara One.
With the advent of LIFE OK, of the Star group, Indranil brought another worth watching show based on the life style and politics set in Bhopal titled EK BOOND ISHQ.
Apart from audio visual projects, Indranil has also created a Self Improvement Book titled

As a person, Indranil is passionate about traveling, music, cuisine, automobiles and reading.
